Let’s dive into the details of what’s new and why these updates matter.

Postalytics December 2024 Update

Buy and Save Audience Lists: Precision in Marketing

The cornerstone of this update is the new audience building service we’ve incorporated into Postalytics. This tool replaces the older service with a much stronger, deeper and more modern way of identifying the best possible audiences for your mailing campaigns.

Audience Building Tool - Postalytics

The Buy & Save Audience Lists feature is the most robust data service available in any direct mail automation platform. This tool empowers users to purchase, save, and reuse audience definitions for streamlined future campaigns.

What’s Inside:

  • Data Depth and Diversity: Access a marketing database with 280 million consumers and 28 million businesses, sourced from over 250 providers, and refreshed monthly using CASS and NCOA certifications.
  • Nine Key Data Categories: These include demographics, business and consumer mortgages, auto and timeshare ownership, military service, and more.
  • Flexible Segmentation: The tool allows for thousands of ways to segment data, ensuring your campaigns are laser-focused on the right audience.

Additionally, you can save time by cloning previous audience definitions with just a click. Whether you’re targeting new movers or niche business sectors, this feature makes reaching your ideal customer more seamless than ever.

New Asset Manager: Intuitive and Powerful

Another highlight of this release is the New Asset Manager, designed to streamline image management for marketers. Available under the “Manage Assets” section in the Creative Menu or via the “Image Picker” in the editor, this tool replaces the existing Asset Manager while preserving all pre-existing images and folders.

Key improvements include:

  • Faster Performance: Manage assets more efficiently with improved speed.
  • Enhanced Features: Actions like creating, renaming, moving, copying, duplicating, or deleting images and folders are now faster and more intuitive.
  • Increased Flexibility: Download or open images with ease, refresh pages effortlessly, and better organize assets into folders.

This tool emphasizes ease of use, making it faster and more secure for businesses to manage the creative assets central to their direct mail campaigns.

Cancel Mail Feature: A Safety Net for Direct Mail Campaigns

Mistakes happen, and sometimes you need to quickly stop a campaign and reset things. The Cancel Mail Feature offers a two-hour window post-processing to halt the distribution of mailpieces, whether it’s an individual piece or an entire campaign.

Key Details:

  • Smart Send Cancels: Cancel the entire order or select individual mailers to cancel in the 2 hour window after the campaign starts processing.
  • Triggered Drips and Automated File Campaigns: Cancel individual mailers within 2 hours of them being triggered into the Postalytics campaign.
  • Refunded Credit System: Any canceled mail is refunded in the form of DM credits, allowing businesses to redirect funds into their next effort.

You can use the Transaction Analysis tool to easily track and reconcile canceled mail. The Cancel Mail feature is a reassuring safety net for marketers, ensuring campaigns are error-free before hitting the mailstream.
